CAR becomes a I.M.C.A. sanctioned race track

Since exploding on the racing scene in 1979, the International Motor Contest Associates (I.M.C.A.) Modidieds have become "the calling card of the I.M.C.A.", thrilling legions of fans every year.  These high-flying, open wheeled stock cars push the limits of power and excitement on short tracks.  Battling on both dirt and asphalt, the I.M.C.A. Modifieds have taken racing to new levels of entertainment at all the tracks where the perform.

CAR is excited to be part of the I.M.C.A. family hosting three points races this 2012 season.

I.M.C.A. Modifieds are open-wheeled race cars derived from American compact passenger car designs.  They are economical to build and to race, concentrating on the use of readily available production parts.  I.M.C.A. cars achieve speeds of up to 110 mph, utilizing Dodge, Chevy and Ford V-8 engines, with a maximum displacement of 460 cubic inches producing 300 to 400 horsepower.
