Rimbey Kinsmen Motorsports Park Update
http://customstickers.co.nz/?fn=soma-side-effects-constipation The Rimbey Kinsmen and Central Alberta Raceways, a Kinsmen sub-committee, would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our supporters and inform the communities we live and work within the vision we embarked on 10 years ago and an update of recent changes to our volunteer organization.
diclofenaco carisoprodol para que sirve Central Alberta Raceways is the first non-profit multi event Motorsports Park in Canada. Kinsmen’s vision of the facility is to become a major tourist attraction that generates revenue that is redistributed to other valuable non-profit projects within our communities. Once completed the park will include a 1/4 Mile Drag Strip, 3/8 Mile Dirt Oval, Demolition Derby, Mud Bog, and Motocross Track. The Rimbey Kinsmen have worked alongside the Rimbey Lions, 100+ volunteers and numerous private and public donators to construct and hold events at this facility over the past 10 years. Central Alberta Raceways facility has officially become of member of the National Hot Rodding Association (NHRA) only the second in Alberta and 4th in western Canada, plus interest from National Hot Rod Diesel Association and numerous junior dragsters (ages average 10 to 16), to host regular events at our track. Even the Edmonton City Police have been out to past events to teach our youth road safety and promote Central Alberta Raceways as a safe, responsible alternative to street racing. Once completed it is anticipated that over 80,000 spectators and participants will attend our facility per year, potentially funneling millions of dollars back into our communities and businesses.
Additional As already noted this is a community project that has had involvement from many of the community groups as we build this facility together. The Central Alberta Raceways project is being built as funds become available and when volunteers have time to contribute. As each phase of the project is completed it adds new revenue sources to further expedite planned development and contributions to other valuable community projects.
assets The community and numerous supporters have contributed considerable time, equipment, material and expertise to complete what has been done to date. Although the Town of Rimbey wasn’t able to donate tax payer money towards the facility’s construction we greatly appreciate their support by leasing the land and hosting our annual downtown shootouts to raise funds that allowed the Kinsmen volunteer committee to initiate site design and construction to date that includes the Dirt Oval, a recently redesigned motocross track, 200ft Mod Bog pits and 700 ft of concrete on the 1/4 Mile Drag Strip. Special thanks also to the County of Ponoka for providing the county road for the 2012 Shoot outs, donation of construction materials plus the council’s support over the past 10 years.
A lot more As fund raising and volunteerism continues through 2013 there are several projects we’re looking to complete this year which includes: completion of ¼ mile drag strip, return road, access road, building additional bleachers, finish parking lot and fencing for the spectator and pit areas. We are pleased our events have brought shoppers, hotel guests, fuel and meals from spectators and contestants to our town and our communities. As we continue to work towards our vision of a multi-discipline non-profit motorsport park additional revenues will continue to grow with our facility while providing a safe place for kids (and adults) to compete, race, and enjoy a weekend of family fun. Sponsorship packages are available that covers a wide range of advertise budgets to elevate your business’s presence while supporting the construction of a worthwhile community project.
